Yemeni Company for Mills and Grain Silos is a leading company that belongs to one of the oldest industrial and commercial groups in the Republic of Yemen, and is one of the companies of the Hayel Saeed Anam Group and its partners. It was licensed by the General Investment Authority in 1997.
The idea of establishing the company came in response to the necessity of the economic reality that the country and the surrounding areas are experiencing, with clear and specific objectives to contribute to covering the needs of the local market for wheat flour and related products and delivering them to all citizens in a manner that is consistent with the purchasing power of all segments of society and suits the different tastes of consumers by providing multiple products. The project provides about (560) job opportunities.
The company was built according to the latest international specifications and began production in 2000 with a daily production capacity of 1,500 tons and a storage capacity of 60,000 tons, and was able to establish itself in the Yemeni and global market.
The increasing demand for its products forced its management to expand, and the company has witnessed two major expansion phases in the recent past, increasing its production capacity to reach 3,500 tons per day and a total storage capacity of 170,000 tons. The project also provides about (560) job opportunities. Thus, the Yemeni Flour Mills and Grain Silos Company becomes the largest flour milling company in Yemen, with the latest machinery and equipment supported by the most skilled workers in this field, and meeting all the needs of customers and consumers on a permanent and continuous basis.
