To restart the main factories for local cement production and increase job opportunities for citizens, and the necessity of coordination between imported cement packing factories and factories with national cement factories such as (Wataniya, Al-Wahda, and Al-Arabiya Factory) to provide their needs for clinker instead of importing from abroad, which leads to the depletion of hard currencies from the local market.During the meeting, the causes of the problem, its negative effects, and the methods and treatments that could limit the risks of the import process causing damage to national factories, which may lead to their complete cessation, God forbid, were reviewed at a time when our country possesses a large wealth of raw materials for the cement industry and its export, as an extension of Hajjah Governorate in the far north and Al-Mahra Governorate in the far east. The discussions also included many observations and proposals aimed at finding a real solution without harm or damage to any party… taking into account the national interest, the interest of local capital, the preservation of the national economy, and the safety and protection of the environment. In conclusion, Brother Badr, Assistant Saeed – Deputy Governor of Aden – Secretary General of the Local Council, urged everyone to stand with national, moral and religious responsibility in the face of the challenges, difficulties and obstacles of the current stage as a result of the absence of imposing the prestige of the state authorities since the Houthi militias’ coup against the state, pointing to the importance of reconsidering the assessment of Operating scales on the roads and stopping collection work at checkpoints to facilitate the crossing of trucks between governorates. The meeting was held on Monday, April 29, 2024, at the General Office of the Governor of Aden.
