Plastics exhibition events

Within the framework of the General Investment Authority’s participation in the activities of the Plastics Exhibition which held in the Egyptian Arabic Republic

for the period from 9 to 12 January 2024, the Authority introduced its role and activity, the investment opportunities, and the advantages and exemptions enjoyed by investment projects in the field of the plastics, rubber and recycling industry, through meeting with many investors and factory owners, as well as Arab and foreign import and export companies.

This exhibition is a great opportunity for the Investment Authority to begin external promotion, as well as create a wide communication circle with Arab and foreign investors, gain experience, and learn about this aspect of investment.The Commission also met with a number of Yemeni investors who have projects inside and outside the country, and some of them expressed their desire to open new projects soon in Aden and Hodeidah.

The exhibition included more than 500 participants from 50 countries and extended over an area of ​​20,000 square meters, distributed over four halls, each hall specializing in a specific aspect, such as machinery and equipment, raw materials and their derivatives, spare parts, artificial intelligence, robotics technology, automation, smart services, and recycling. Shipping, import and export companies were also present. There were also special pavilions for countries such as Germany, Turkey, China, Kuwait, Taiwan and India, which participated with a remarkable presence in the exhibition, and each country showcased its products, expertise, and the extent of development it has achieved in this field.

The exhibition lasted for four days, during which it supported cooperation between international and regional manufacturers, signed new investment agreements, created new markets, and found new customers in various countries.
