Commercial Arbitration Conference
The General Investment Authority participated in the Commercial Arbitration Conference, which was organized under the auspices of the International Court for Dispute Settlement – England. Titled “The importance of including an arbitration clause in financing and commercial contracts to save money, effort and time.”
The conference comes within the framework of supporting and disseminating the concept of commercial arbitration, and the importance of the contribution of arbitration centers in resolving disputes of a financial, commercial, investment, industrial, banking and other nature, and to clarify the need of merchants, companies of all kinds, banks, banks and every relationship of a contractual nature to know the importance of turning to institutional arbitration to save effort, money and time and to clarify the advantages and importance of Arbitration in the country is considered a modern culture, despite its great importance to traders and investors, and the spread of the concept of arbitration and its inclusion as a condition in commercial contracts because it acquires a mechanism for the two parties to comply and resort to arbitration whenever one party overpowers the other, with the presence of all the laws that attract investment, especially complete confidentiality that Arbitration sessions are distinguished.
The conference was attended by Deputy Director of the General Authority for Investment, Nawaf Aoun, Vice President of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Aden, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Advisor to the International Tribunal for the Settlement of Disputes in North Africa and the Middle East, presidents of courts, members of the Supreme Court, judges, and legal advisors.
