Entrepreneurship Week Symposium

 The General Investment Authority attended the Entrepreneurship Week symposium, which was held by the Small and Micro Enterprise Development Agency (SMEPS), affiliated with the Social Fund for Development, with funding and support from the International Development Association of the World Bank, and in partnership with the United Nations Development Program, within the project to strengthen social protection in emergencies and confront the Corona virus.

During the event, the Small and Micro Enterprise Development Agency presented the concept of entrepreneurship from a general perspective, the differences between entrepreneurship and traditional work, and the personal skills of entrepreneurs. The experiences of entrepreneurs and the role of the private sector in supporting entrepreneurship and how to provide the appropriate work environment to stimulate the environment of entrepreneurs were also presented during the discussion sessions.

 The event was held on November 26, 2023, in Laylati Hall – Al-Mualla District.
