Youth Cadres Empowering in the Local Authority and Executive Offices for enhancing their effective participation aim to take decision-making

Under the patronage of the Minister of State – Governor of Aden Governorate, Mr. Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, with cooperation the Planning and International Cooperation Office , Afaq Youth Cooperation , in partnership with the Youth without border  Organization for Development and the Civil Peace Coalition, has been inaugurated the youth  in capacity building a program  in the local authority and its executive offices in Aden Governorate, the Program seeks to rehabilitate young people in power in aspect of local government , public services management, local resource development and governance, as well as to empower young people and enhance their participation in the structures of the local authority and executive offices and in decision-making in order to enable them to work professionally in line with the requirements of the governorate’s direction to move towards sustainable development work, as the first stage. To enable and enhance the involvement of youth in decision-making under the local.

Members of the Executive Offices of the Local Authority, including the General Investment Authority, participated in the program for the period  from September 23^rd  to October 7^th , 2023.

​The program started on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at the Royal Hotel – Khormaksar.
