Al-Zubaidi heard from the Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, and the administrative and technical staff supervising the center, to a detailed explanation of the center, its departments and tasks, and its work mechanism, which is mainly based on collecting revenues and issuing licenses for the sundial. Professions, etc., at the governorate and directorate levels, in an automated electronic manner and a unified networking system.Al-Zubaidi also reviewed the great benefits achieved by the center during its experimental period of work, including a comprehensive inventory of revenues and stopping financial waste, in addition to the percentages of increase achieved in central and local revenues in the governorate and districts and the level of their collection.Al-Zubaidi also praised, in his speech before the Executive Office of the capital, Aden, the efforts made to establish the center by Governor Lamlas and the staff of the local authority, stressing that the establishment of this center is considered a first step for the complete transition of the electronic system of government services in place in neighboring countries and developed countries.Al-Zubaidi expressed his satisfaction with the promising results he witnessed of the center’s work during the trial period, in reducing financial waste, and the large positive differences in revenue collection rates before and after the establishment of the center, indicating that the success of this pioneering experiment necessitates the need to circulate it to other governorates to benefit from it.At the end of his speech, Al-Zubaidi stressed the importance of redoubling efforts, enhancing and maintaining discipline in all state facilities, raising the capabilities of administrative and technical cadres, and benefiting from modern technology to save time and effort and keep pace with rapid developments in all fields, in a way that restores the capital, Aden, to its splendor, leadership, and pivotal role for which it is known.
