Meeting between General Investment Authority (GIA) and Tax Authority 

On Monday, January 2, 2023, the second meeting was held between the General Authority for Investment and the Tax Authority, This meeting is attached to the first meeting which held on October 10, 2022 AD, during which the facilitation and simplification of the work mechanism for investors’ procedures was discussed, and in this meeting a new work mechanism was discussed according to which full powers are given to the office Taxes at the one-stop shop at the General Investment Authority to complete tax investment projects transactions in the liberated and unliberated areas.

The meeting was held in the Tax Authority building, in the presence of Mr. Jamal Sorour – Head of the Tax Authority, Mr. Ali Ahmed Jarhoum – Chairman of the General Authority for Investment, a number of employees of the General Authority for Investment and the Tax Authority, and a representative of the private sector.
