Nomination Of Aden Peninsula As A (Geopark)

GIA – Aden participated in the opening of the photo exhibition and the lecture on the candidate geopark (Aden Peninsula), which was held by the Yemeni National Committee for Education, Culture and Science (UNESCO) and the Department of Archeology and Tourism at the college, in partnership with the (Awsan Center) for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage in Aden under the slogan (Towards the Nomination of the Aden Peninsula Garden UNESCO Global Geological Survey).

Dr. Al-Khidr Nasser Lisour, head of the University of Aden, opened the lecture with a speech in which he praised UNESCO’s efforts in all cultural, educational and scientific fields. He stressed that UNESCO’s work adopts the method of preserving civilizational, historical and nature gains and highlighting them so that the world knows them through programs, events, workshops, and research and exploratory work to be An icon for the present and the future for the generations of today and tomorrow.The event was held at the College of Arts – Aden on November 03, 2022.
