Opening the Sky of the Arabian Gulf Residential City Project

 

In the presence of Mr. Khaled Al-Gaimlani – Deputy Governor of Aden and Mr. Ali Garhuom – Chairman of the General Investment Authority, the official opening of the office of the Gulf Arab Investment and Real Estate Development Company took place in conjunction with the official opening of the operation of wind turbines to generate clean energy in the Sky of the Arabian Gulf City Project in the Al-Alam area – Khanfar District.

The Chairman of the General Investment Authority expressed his happiness with the establishment of such large investment projects by local investors that will transform the desert into urban cities that possess all the standards of modern life, calling on all investors at home and abroad to invest in the country and promising to provide all facilities to make their investment projects successful.

The residential city is located on an area of ​​12,424,000 square meters, near the Al-Alam point east of the capital Aden, and is administratively affiliated with Khanfar District in Abyan Governorate. It will be built in several phases. The first phase includes 220 buildings with four floors, each floor containing two apartments, for a total of 1,760 residential apartments, in addition to a medical city consisting of modern hospitals and a medical university that provides the study of all medical specialties and a large park in the middle of the city. The first phase is expected to open in 2027. The city includes 1,200 villas designed according to five models, taking into account the general shape of the city. The opening took place on January 23, 2025, in the presence of a large number of general managers, businessmen and social figures.
