Meeting to discuss arrangements for holding a workshop on import rationalization procedures

Mr. Mohammed Mohammed Al-Ashwal, Minister of Industry and Trade, discussed with Mr. Ali Ahmed Jarhoum, Chairman of the General Investment Authority, the ongoing arrangements for holding a workshop on the procedures and policies available to rationalize imports under the slogan (Towards reducing the import of luxury goods and securing the import of basic goods).

The meeting stressed the importance of focusing on importing basic goods and rationalizing the bill of luxury and consumer goods in a way that meets the needs of citizens for essential goods and reduces the depletion of hard currency and stabilizes it.
