The opening ceremony coincided with the hospital hosting the free medical camp activities by His Excellency Dr. Masoud Al-Hajri, Chairman of the Kuwaiti Elaph Charitable Society, Dr. Ahmed Dahhan, Chairman of the Kuwait Channel, Dr. Ali Mansour bin Safaa, our country’s Ambassador to the sisterly State of Kuwait, and Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of the Hospital, Muhammad Ali Al-Maklani, in the presence of Dr. Jamal Abdul Hamid, Director of the National Cancer Control Program, and Dr. Murad Al-Daari, Chairman of the Ithraa Foundation for Development, Empowerment and Humanitarian Response..

The free medical camp, which was organized under the sponsorship and support of the Elaph Association in the sisterly State of Kuwait and implemented by the Ithraa Foundation, aims to perform between (50 – 80) surgical operations to remove tumors..

The hospital administration had prepared the opening ceremony, where a welcoming speech was delivered by the Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Manager of the Modern American Hospital, Muhammad Ali Al-Maklani, in which he welcomed the guests participating in the hospital opening activities and the launch of the free medical camp, reviewing the stages, importance and components of the Modern American Hospital project, which was a dream and became a reality thanks to the will and determination of businessmen to contribute to enhancing the activity of the health sector through this achievement, expressing his thanks to the State of Kuwait, its leadership, government and people for their generous support for our country in all fields, including the free medical camp project, which he said we are launching today with the generous support of the Kuwaiti Elaph Charitable Society.

The official opening ceremony of the hospital was held on August 18 2024.
