A coordination meeting between the Customs Authority, traditional partners, and those dealing with customs

The General Authority for Investment participated in the coordination meeting with traditional and new partners under the slogan of the Customs Organization for the year 2024 (strengthening cooperation with traditional and new customs partners to achieve the desired goals to facilitate commercial work), which was organized by the Customs Authority under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Finance, Mr. Salem Saleh Bin Brik, and in the presence of the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade. Salem Salman Al-Wali, Major General Mutahar Al-Shuaibi, Director of Aden Security, Head of the Customs Authority, Abdul Hakim Qobati, and a number of undersecretaries of ministries and directors of agencies associated with customs.

During the meeting, many issues related to strengthening partnership with the private sector and relevant government agencies and procedures for implementing the memorandum of understanding signed with the relevant authorities were discussed.At the end of the coordination meeting, it was agreed that the representatives of the entities, each in their field, would present a vision to facilitate trade, strengthen the relationship between the entities concerned with import and export, and develop specific proposals to solve all the difficulties facing their commercial work tasks.
