Workshop to discuss the diagnostic study on “the economic reality, business environment, and productive sectors in Aden Governorate”

The General Authority for Investment participated in a workshop to discuss the outcomes of the diagnostic study on “The Economic Reality, Business Environment, and Productive Sectors – Aden Governorate,” which aims to discuss the outcomes of the study with a group of participants representing local authorities, the private sector, and civil society organizations, and to come up with recommendations that will help develop the study. In order to serve local economic development in the governorate.

This workshop comes within the Enhancing Institutional and Economic Resilience in Yemen (SERI) project – the local economic development component – funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in cooperation with the Center for Studies and Economic Media. During the workshop, the content of the study was reviewed and working groups were formed. To discuss the outputs by sector and concluded with a discussion of recommendations and proposals.

The workshop was held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in the hall of the Ocean Hotel Aden, Abyan Coast.
