The 20th session of the Arab Business Owners and Investors Conference – Jordan

The General Investment Authority participated in the activities of the 20th session of the Arab Business Owners and Investors Conference under the slogan “The First Economic Summit for the Arab Private Sector,” which was organized by the Union of Arab Chambers in partnership with the Jordan Chamber of Commerce and the League of Arab States in the city of Amman – the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, during the period 18 -October 19, 2023, at the St. Regis Hotel – Amman.

The conference focused on learning about the investment climate and environment, policies, incentives and modern legislation in Arab countries to attract investments and presenting investment plans and visions in Arab countries, in addition to the positive repercussions of the joining of a number of Arab countries to the BRICS group on Arab economies. The conference was attended by His Excellency the Ministers of Economy, Investment and Trade, concerned official authorities in the Hashemite Kingdom, leaders of chambers of commerce, industry and agriculture in Arab countries, joint Arab-foreign chambers, development banks, Arab finance and development funds, investment promotion bodies in Arab countries, business owners and investors, and Arab experts. And foreigners in the economic, financial and social fields, which will constitute an important opportunity to enhance the reality of intra-Arab investments and attract investments to Arab countries.
