The Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority organized a scientific lecture entitled (Local Origin Building Materials and Stones – Authenticity and Sustainability) in the interim capital, Aden, in coordination with the Office of Advisors to the Minister of Oil and Minerals, the Geological Society and the National Society for Scientific Research.

The event was held under the auspices of Dr. Saeed Suleiman Al-Shamasi – Minister of Oil and Minerals, and was presented by the geological consultant / Marouf Ibrahim Oqba, member of the Office of Advisors to the Minister of Oil and Minerals – Advisor to the President of the Geological Survey and Chairman of the Advisory Board of the National Association for Scientific Research, and aimed to show investment opportunities for the local building materials industry And its importance in stimulating the role of the national economy in the field of sustainable development.The event was held in the Geological Survey building – Al-Mualla on May 31, 2023 AD, in the presence of M. / Ghassan Al-Zamki – Undersecretary of Aden Governorate, Dr. Rashid Barabaa – President of the Yemeni Geological Society, and M / Ahmed Abdullah Al-Tamimi – President of the Geological Survey and Mineral Resources Authority and Head of the Office of Consultants At the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, and Mr. Youssef Ahmed Musaed – Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry of Oil and Minerals, and Mrs. Ali Jarhoum – Chairman of the General Investment Authority, and Mrs. Ahmed Madkhali – Director of the Saudi Program for the Development and Reconstruction of Yemen, Aden Office, and Mrs. Aden Thabet Salem Al Azab – President of the Association The National Scientific Research Associate Professor of Building Materials – College of Engineering, University, and a number of participants from the competent authorities.
