Building Seawater Desalination Plant

Project aim:

To provide and fulfill the increasing needs of water, and the country will benefit from desalination technology. The country also will acquire knowledge and experiment from establishing, operating the plant and reserve the underground water for next generations, and increase water resources.

Seawater

Requirements:

• The plant should be away from potential oils.
• It should be away from sewers.
• It should be away from industrial and shipping areas.
• It should have access to deep water (10m deep).
• It should not reuse the saline water in the water inlet of the plant.
