Project aim:

To build a fishing commercial port in Al Buriaqa (Foqom) which views beautiful beaches where there are places to practice fishing by fishing small and medium boats. Foqom is characterized by rich maritime creatures and a lot of fish products compared with other areas.

Estimated capacity:

800 fishing boats.

Essential services:

Dock, storage refrigerator, two freezers (fast freezing), ice factory, ice store, room to prepare fish, boat workshop, outboard motor and other maritime motors workshop, small and big boats berth, device to beach traditional boats from sea to land to repair, space to sell fish in public auction, petrol station, administration building, refrigerators and their accessories, generating station.
